It happened to me several times too but I wasn't able to reproduce it every time. It happens when I change offset to baseline of one paragraph via PP. |

I just upgraded from rc5 to stable 1.4.0, and found this issue too. I'm using this feature in my wife's cookbook. I created a new document to test this (thinking maybe there was an issue with the file); however, the new document also ignores this setting. The other options in the "Advanced Settings" seems to work okay. I'm using the Mac version. |

Duplicate of 0010548. That setting cannot have any effect on whole frame if first line offset is maximum ascent as that mode will by definition compensate its effects. Same when applying a style using that setting to the first paragraph of a frame. Just change first line offset mode and that will work. Using that parameter to modify position of except of a few characters is a misuse of that setting. For moving characters in a whole frames, it is best to use the settings available in 'Columns and text distances' tab |
