Platform | linux-x86 | OS | Ubuntu | OS Version | 10.04.2 |
Product Version | 1.4.0 | ||||
Fixed in Version | 1.4.1.svn
Summary | 0010504: Incorrect import of SVG file
Description | When I try to import the file in the usual way (File -> Import -> Get vector file -> select from dialog), the document area appears to go blank (white). When I scroll the document, parts of it become visible, but a wide horizontal white band still appears over the document where the contents of the SVG file were inserted. When I try to move the inserted object, the document area goes blank again. (Scribus version is actually 1.4.0rc6, the one that comes from the package manager. The SVG file in question was generated from a matlab figure, the contact details and availability of the converter are in the header of the attached file. Other tools (Firefox, Inkscape, Nautilus etc.) have no problem with this file.)
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Select SVG file from import dialog 2. Place it anywhere in the document 3. Enjoy the whiteness
