| Summary | 0010846: new scripter: couldn't find a way to tell the type of the item | ||||||||||||
| Description | i couldn't find a way -- nor in the docs nor in the code -- to tell if the the selected item (or any item) is a text frame, an image frame or something else. the best thing i could find is "type(Scripter.activeDocument.activeItem)" but its result is "tainted" by "mikro" and not really nice to use | ||||||||||||

personally, i would prefer having "item.textFrame" rather than "item.type = FRAME_TEXT" |
