Summary | 0012153: scribus defines incorrect bounding boxes for vector objects.
Description | the bounding box for path objects includes the position of the control points of the nodes. this can produce huge boxes, which make all the snapping functions and the whole 'align and distribute' window useless. the problem appears with paths created in scribus and with imported .svg vectors from inkscape. in inkscape the bounding box is smaller. (contains only the path object itself – see files)
Steps To Reproduce | create a path with the bézier tool (make sure, some of the control points stand out of the path…) duplicate the element and play with aligning and snapping functions.
