Reproduced with 1.4.5.svn (19313) and 1.5.0.svn (19314). Confirming.

With the french UI, the column's heading is quite different since it doesnt mean "Used in doc" but "Use in doc".

It works as a way to only propose a choice of fonts in the menus, instead of display loads of loads of never used fonts. And so it's ok both in document or application preferences.

Since many font management is done at startup, it requires closing and reopening scribus to work.

A feature improvement would be to update font lists when validating the font pane of the preferences.

If english UI says "Used fonts", then it should be corrected to "Use font" or "propose font" and a hint could be "Propose font in menus".

Maybe I misunderstood this feature; but I'd like to make clear that I'm referring to the eleventh column (Used in Doc/Utilisée), not the second (Use Font/Utiliser la police). The online help clearly states in the "Font Setup" page: "Used in Doc: This column shows whether a font is being used in your currently open document (only available in the Document Setup)."
