Summary | 0001252: configure doesn't detect missing headers from the libart_lgpl package
Description | I ran through configure successfully, but hadn't installed the libart_lgpl-devel package. Configure didn't complain, and the make didn't work. Configure should detect this, and complain so I don't bother trying to make until I have all the pieces installed correctly.
Steps To Reproduce | See description.
Additional Information | I'm using SUSE Linux 8.2 at the moment.

Same problem. I'm using Linux Fedora Core 3 on x86 (kernel upgraded to 2.6.9-1.681_FC3). Configure didn't warn me, than make failed with "missing file" messages. |

1. we now do a test for /usr/bin/libart2-config existing 2.it belongs to libart_lgpl-devel as a package If it is found and compile still fails, then that is an upstream packaging bug IMO. |
