DescriptionIf the gradient is transparent, to show inaccurate.

Gradient colour = None
Show: gray area

Gradient colour = any Color
Opacity: 0%
Show: perfect
Steps To Reproduce0) Create a new document
1) Insert a Shape
2) Go to: Windows > Properties > Colors
3) Set Fill Mode to: Gradient

By default gradient color is black

4) Add a color stop
5) Set the color color stops as follows:
     1st: Red
     2nd: Red
     3rd: None

Between the 2nd and the 3rd stop the interpolation shows a black shade.

"None" is the context of gradient is defined as "Black" with 0% opacity. Before 0012280 it was defined as "White" with 0% opacity. Given current definition ("Black"), the produced result is the expected one as color interpolation is perform between "Red" with 100% opacity and "Black" with 0% opacity.

I can't seem to reproduce the issue via the screenshot.

FirasH, thanks for the edit. So what is the way to communicate the issue to the end use?

I examined the ask again...

0) Create a new document
1) Insert a Shape
2) Go to: Windows > Properties > Colors
3) Set Fill Mode to: Gradient

By default gradient color is black

4) Add a color stop
5) Set the color color stops as follows:
     1st: Red
     2nd: Red
     3rd: None

Now:
-- Click 3rd color stop
-- Click "Extend" box and click "None" and watch it: "Opacity" and Shade become active.
-- Set the Shade value 99%
Now what happens is what the user expects: the gradient is correct
