Summary | 0002109: Internet document submission
Description | As discussed repeatedly on IRC and recently on the mailing list, the facility to submit documents over the Internet would potentially be useful. Use cases would include publishing houses accepting docs for print, and newspapers/magazines acepting advertising. Submission might be collected .sla, PDF, or both. It'd probably involve the client running a preflight check with server-provided requirements against their doc before it was accepted by the server. I'm not too sure how useful this would be, given Scribus's excellent PDF support and the existence of tools such as QuickCut (http://www.quickcut.com.au) and PitStop / CertifiedPDF for PDF preflight and submission. Nonetheless, it's worth mentioning here.
