Summary0003707: Copy and Paste between files moves frames to the wrong page
DescriptionI tried to copy some frames from one document to a new one. After I did not see the content at the page I just pasted the frame to, I switched to thumbnail few and saw the frames one or two pages after the last one.

I could not use the frame where they have been.

After inserting the number of blank pages to fill the gap between, I was able to use the frames as normal.

All frames have been locked at the original document.
Steps To ReproduceTake a long document

Create a new document

Insert an empty page

Switch to the long document and select all frames from a page and copy them via the menu

Switch to the new document and insert the copied frames into it
Additional InformationI downloaded the Linux sources, copied them to the ports, edited the makefile and compiled them myself.

I cannot replicate the issue with 1.3.3.1 on linux. Could you upload the long document you've mentioned?

How to reproduce.

Open both files.
Set view to thumbnails in both files.
Select all frames of pages 16, 17 and 18 from the file TheRoute
Switch to the document ALOData
Insert three empty pages at the end
Paste the copied frames into the document

The frames are then copied into ALOData but land far behind the last page. After extenting the document to 21 pages, the frames landed on a page. I could then delete the pages between to get what I wanted.

Erich, thanks for your feedback.

I've followed the described steps with your both files and everything works fine here (kubuntu dapper).

BTW: are you aware, that you can import whole pages from another document using Page/Import dialog?

Tomasz, you are a FreeBSD user, aren't you? Can you confirm this one?
