Summary | 0005740: Import InDesign Exchange files (inx)
Description | The INX format is primarily designed to exchange data between different versions of InDesign, but since it's an XML format, it is possible to use it for exchange between ID and other apps as well. INX files contain a full representation of the original idd file, which means INX is more than XPress' Xtags. The full spec is available from Adobe: http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/indesign/sdk/working_with_inx_file_format.pdf

Stylesheets for the conversion of INX to XSL FO are available here: http://www.renderx.com/tools/inx2fo_download_only.html |

Closing as won't fix. INX is not supported by Indesign anymore since Indesign CS5. IDML is now the way to go, is correctly documented by Adobe (the link mentionned in the description is by no mean a full spec) and there is a plugin available for it in 1.5.0svn. |
