Summary | 0005853: Multiple duplicate of group requires negative gap |
---|
Description | When duplicating a group of objects into multiple rows, the increased size of the group selection vs the size of the selected objects leads to a gap greater than the specified 0.000mm between objects. Applying a negative value to the horizontal gap counters this effect. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | Create a text frame at x=0mm y=0mm extending the width of the page and a 3rd of the page height. Add another element within this area. Group the objects and under Item > Multiple Duplicate choose 3 rows. Note that the contents of the duplicated group are offset from the contents of the group above by a small amount. Note the dimensions of the group in the properties pane, this is the amount of negative horizontal gap required to place the contents of the duplicated group flush with the preceding group. |
