| Summary | 0006047: Flag for White Overprint in Preflight Verifyer | ||||||||||||
| Description | As summary. | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | The color "white" set as overprint is one of the most common mistake we see in prepress. If we could flag this particular color in the Preflight Verifyer, it would be a nice addition, imo. | ||||||||||||

Why not disable overprinting for a colour with R: 255, G: 255, B: 255 or C: 0, M: 0, Y: 0, K: 0? |

I am thinking of the cases where you want/need a white to overprint, such as in serigraphy. So I wouldn't ask for it to be disabled but only flagged. |

But this white would be a spot colour, right? |

Also, "white" is most often set as "Black 0 %" which, in the case "Black" is set as default to "overprint" will end as "white overprint". |

I guess that's why InDesign does not allow the overprint attribute to be set at the color level but has overprint attribute per object ;) |
