Summary0006222: Save as pdf, frames not saving
DescriptionI have a book cover with about 25 frames, image and text. The images a TIFs from Photoshop, which save as Microsoft Office documents. It's saved to pdf fine, and indeed the first commercial print run is done.
For the second, I have made slight modifications on photoshop to two images, which have text levels above them. On Scribus they work fine. When I save to pdf, these two images no longer appear, and I get the message on Adobe reader
"Could not find XObject `R14`. The rest of the cover comes up fine, though it takes a long time to do so.
Steps To ReproduceThis would be longer than anybody wants to read. I started on this cover about a year ago.

The way the above pdf opens has fewer image and text frames than if I open it on my computer. Is it a file or an Adobe reader problem?

Please update to http://downloads.sourceforge.net/scribus/scribus-1.3.3.10svn-070823-snapshot.exe

and report if this bug is not fixed. I suspect it is.

Thanks. OK I've done that, installed 1.3.3.10, and the result is the same, the two new frames are missing though they are there quite all right on the Scribus document. The full cover is as pdf Cover140709.

OK, but there are twenty or so images and text frames. Do I just upload the lot one after the other? It is strange. The image I am trying to upload is just a slightly edited version of the image that was there already. It imports to Scribus quite all right, but not from there to pdf. If I import it to any other Scribus document and then to pdf, it's fine.
