Summary 0007981: Vertical destribute always moves up
Description It seems that when I try "vertical distribute" that sets vertical gaps between two object it is always the lower object that moves.
Is there a way to move the other object ?

Thank you.

Choose "Last Selected" or select the other item first.

Probably, I did not describe the problem as necessary.

Please follow the next procedure to reproduce the problem

Open a (new) document.
Draw two rectangles.
Chose both rectangles and open the "Align & Distribute" tool.
Switch to the "Distribute" tab.
Set "Distance" to whatever you want, say 20pt.
Press the last button ("Make vertical gaps between items equal to...")
The lower rectangle moves.

As far as I can see there no way to make the upper element move. No matter what you chose the upper element always stay at its place and the lower one moves.

Thank you.
