Summary |
0008424: Pure black CMYK(0,0,0,100) is wrong in PS when Color Profiles Applied |
|
Description |
In the attached sla i have a cmyk photo, an RGB photo, a barcode and 4 lines with pure cmyk colors. When applying color profile when printing to postscript file or during print preview, pure black becomes distorted in output.
Pure black is used for the barcode and the "Pure black" text.
But checking CMYK plates individually you can see, that "Pure black" is printed on all plates, that is not good.
I assume that "Use blackpoint compensation" checkbox in Document Setup/Color management is for leaving pure black as it is in output.
See attached sla file and screenshots. |
