Summary0008701: Regression: Resize line no longer works at high zoom level
DescriptionI'm a fairly new user to Scribus, so forgive me if I'm missing something obvious!

In the stable release, drawing a line, then reselecting it, allows the line to be resized or stretched in any direction.

In the latest SVN and earlier versions, the only option appears to be to move the line - not to resize it.

This seems fairly major, unless the functionality has changed?
Steps To ReproduceDraw a line

Click to select this line

Try to grab either end of the line to resize it.

Note the only option is to move, not to resize the line

This is just a display issue : the cursor does not change when moving mouse over line end points. Resizing line is still possible.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I've just tried drawing a new line, and no matter where I seem to click at the ends of the line, I cannot get it to resize - it always moves.

I have also attempted it when zoomed right in, but it still doesn't let me do anything other than move.

Is there a different tool I need to do the resize? I'm just using the 'insert line' tool from the top toolbar, then the 'select item' tool to attempt the resize.

No, it should work. It works here.

Okay - after playing with this for a while, I can pin the behaviour on being zoomed in a large amount.

I can resize the line when I am zoomed into an A4 sheet (1pt line) by 100%.

If I zoom in from about 1600% and beyond, the line becomes impossible to 'grab' for resizing.

I agree there is also a display issue here which is masking the correct mouse cursor that should show - but there also appears to be a bug at high zoom levels that prevents the resize happening at all.

I hope this is a bit clearer :)
