Summary0008782: Max. word tracking value
DescriptionCurrently Scribus allows setting only standard and min. values for word tracking. A user reports that being able to set max. word tracking value is most desired to have more precision on final layout.

The actual limits are 1% for minimum which brings the word together, and 200% as "normal" which produces a blanck of — I’m only guessing — an em space between the words.

All this is nice but we lack to be able to expand that gap by far more than 200%, I completely agree that we need a maximum settings in here.

Can we raise that limit to 1000% ?

Also, it is unclear whether a settings will apply uniformeously throughout a frame. I think it is reasonable to expect that setting up a minimum and a normal settings will in fact only be used by Scribus along with the Justify or Block Justify options, not with any of the other 3 alignments.

However, if we had a maximum value to play with, it would be expected that with any of the ragged text alignment methods the user could in fact determine the desired space between words — understated that the spacing would in this cas be uniform, when applied. nd for this to be completely useful, we'd need a high limit, not a low limit. We need to be able to expand the word spacing more that the actual limit.
