Summary0009062: will not export complete page to .JPG image
DescriptionWhen trying to export a complete 8.5 X 11 inch page with a solid colour background and seven 300 dpi images plus 2 text fields with colour backgrounds, I get the following message:"JPEG Library Error - application transfered too few scanlines" in a text box (please see attached JPEG for image).
The application creates an exported file but the resulting JPEG is incomplete, usually missing one or more images.
Steps To ReproduceCreate a page resembling that of the attached page, export it as a JPEG image with any DPI setting from 150 to 300.
Additional Information  I am using this software in a Public School where I am delighted to be able to introduce students to an open source software that is so powerful and flexible. We have been exporting pages of the Year Book that we are working on as JPEG image drafts for proofing before producing the PDF final output for printing externally by a professional because our School printer does a great job with JPEG images and tends to make the PDFs too dark.
If there is something that I can do or do differently to export these "heavier" pages, please let me know.
It has been a pleasure working with your fantastic software and being able to introduce the students to this valuable open source resource.
Thank you very much, James Dowler Gow

This error indicates in your case an out of memory error from JPEG library. We can not fix this kind of issue ourself (jpeg library is not our code). There is however an already existing issue (0001398) for such problem which asks for better memory efficiency. Closing this issue consequently as a duplicate of 0001398.

Best solution for you : find a computer with a fair amount of RAM and try again.
