Summary | 0009292: Line end points position is too sensible to mouse clicks
Description | When a straight line is drawn, one can see end points position in X and Y in the PP. The width displays the length. Unfortunately, when the line is rotate, the width returned is not the same on each end point. It's a bit confusing.

Cant replicate this, really not even sure what you mean. |
I guess pygmee means that basepoint of line is not changable, so when your rotating line with startpoint coordinates are changing, and when you do it with endpoints they aren't. Possible suggestion: make more adequate representation of basepoints for lines. |
What's width got to do with basepoint? Pygmee? |
Just look at the attached file. Click on one point and watch the Width or rotation. Then click on the other point of the line. Values are different here; and i'd expect them to be similar. |
I think I got the point. When clicking on endpoints with zoom 150% or less it's quite impossible to do not move points. On zoom about 300% width stays the same. |
Yes, certainly points really move, I'm not sure about the 150% zoom factor. It happens here even with 200%. But in fact i would like those point to stay where they are. COuld something be done for this. Click should select and drag move. Is there any click duration trouble or so ? |
I've got a patch for this issue, wait until this weekend and it will be in svn |
