Snippet from scribus135.rc:

 <LatexConfig command=""/usr/local/texlive/2008/bin/universal-darwin/pdflatex --interaction nonstopmode"" file="100_latex.xml"/>

If I remove the " _and_ launch from the command line it works.

If launched from clicking the app icon it failsm no matter whether launched from Finder or the dock.

when starting from the command line, the latex frame works correctly when pdflatex is installed through fink and the command is left to the default

pdflatex --interaction nonstopmode

lilypond still gives an error when set as

/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond

i get the following alert when switching for the first to lilypond:
"The application "lilypond --pdf" failed to start"

i get the following error in the terminal otput:

RENDER FRAME: latexError(): "Running the application "lilypond --pdf" failed!" 0

running from the console does work:

/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond --pdf test.ly

tried to

PATH=/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/:$PATH

and now lilypond works... so i guess scribus is just ignoring the path in the preference?

p.s.: scribus135.rc: <LatexConfig command="/Applications/LilyPond.app/Contents/Resources/bin/lilypond --pdf" file="300_lilypond.xml" />

Tested also on 10.6.4 When launched from the app icon, latex fails, even with the absolute path put into the preferences.

When launched from the command line it works properly.
