Summary0009323: Scribus places EPS files randomly in image frames
DescriptionI used gnuplot (4.4) to produce eps images for a poster. When importing these plots to scribus, they look fine, but after exporting to pdf, the images are placed in the frames randomly. If I export the document five times to pdf, _without_ changing any options, or modifying the original document, it might look different all the time. In some cases, even parts are missing from the plots: only random spots from the eps-file can be seen.
The figures are also moved, when the input profile or rendering intent is changed under Properties/Image (probably when the file is re-read).

Hi,

I've uploaded one of the eps files and the script generating the plot.

document-3.pdf is what i could create with 1.3.8...

looks very similar to what i was seeing in scribus after importing the eps.

if i load the eps into an image frame i get indeed a scrambled result... but i already get it in scribus itself!

Yes, that's exactly what was happening at me. If the page looks fine in scribus, it might be also destroyed in the pdf version - I think it might be changed every time ghostscript is run to render the plot.

Assigning to Franz to check this out.. I don't see this behaviour in 1.5.0svn
