Summary0009746: Undo after a viewport glitch(?) blanks the canvas
DescriptionA certain sequence of actions can lead to a glitch in the visibility of objects on the program viewport, and if the Undo function is then used to retract from the cause of the glitch, the canvas are blanked, turn white, objetcs (together with guidelines) are invisible -- though they remain selectable and are visible in the structure window. This persists in the document between program runs if the file is saved before exiting.
Steps To Reproduce1) open the attached document in Scribus 1.3.9, go to page 2;
2) select group 6 (the two lines of vertical text above the blue thingy);
3) select group 66 (the blue thingy);
4) hit Ctrl-G to group the groups -- observe a blank area appearing;
5) hit Ctrl-Z to undo -- observe total canvas blanking;
6) save file, restart program, reopen saved file -- observe persistent object invisibility.
Additional InformationMyself I suspect this is Scribus protesting against combing group 6 and group 66, in case something REALLY nasty takes place... we all know know what three sixes together stand for. Haven't tried holy water yet, though.

Duplicate of issue 0009591 as it shares same causes. The issue has already been fixed in 1.5.0svn thanks to a group handling rewrite. Not sure it will be easy to fix than one in 1.4.x
