Summary 0004751: Some file dialogs use unreasonable default directories
Revision 2014-09-12 20:26 by Kunda
Description Example:
Page > Import,
Script > Execute Script,
File > Export > Save as EPS/PS,
Edit > Paragraph Styles > Import,
Edit > Line Styles > Import,
and
Edit > Master Pages > Import
use the directory from the latest File > Import > EPS import.

Scribus searches in the install directory for pages to import by default. OTOH, the last directories for the import of patterns and Scrapbook files aren't remembered correctly. Scribus always remembers one directory above the last selected folder (at least under SuSE 10.0 and 10.1). The export directory for key sets is the last one used for scrapbook imports.

"Collect for Output" uses /$home/.scribus/templates. IMHO, the defaults should be set to the user's home directory for all files, except Python scripts (use $install_dir/share/scribus/samples as default)
