Summary | 0010256: Recommended image size in pixels information
Description | I have designed a small and simple spreadsheet which helps me: - find out what size my image needs to be to achieve a specific dpi (useful when I need to tell a client "buy this size or that size" on image site) - what dpi I will achieve if I have to fit an image width / height in a fixed frame width / height It also tells me the maximum frame size achievable for 300dpi. I know these operations are very easy to perform, simple multilpications and divisions really, and it is easy to open the frame, set the dpi to 300, adjust the frame to image, then look at the frame size. I find it saves me more time to enter this information especially when I need to advise customers "How big can you make this image with the file you've got? Which one do I need to buy so that it's usable?" I am thinking of a possible implementation as a popup or information available from the right click menu "Recommended image size in pixels".
