Summary | 0010375: Double column break
Description | version 1.4.0.rc6 I am trying to add column break before sections of my documents so that if I change something in the previous section, it will not change the next section. The problem is that when the column break is either very close to the end of the previous page or at the beginning of the new page, it breaks a new column again. Which prevents me from placing a break at all else I'll get an empty column.
Steps To Reproduce | Try to break a column very close to the end of the page and also use shapes where text wrap around.

It is not a bug but well known text layout problem which must be solved by user manually. How Scribus or anybody else can help you with your problem? What do you expect? |

I just realized that there was a difference between column and frame break. But still, if the break is to close to the end, it will jump to the next page. So there is no way to force a particular line of text to start at the top of a column or a frame to make sure that changes to the layout of the previous page does not affect the layout of the next pages. |
