Summary0010576: Scribus manual-application window transiction problem
DescriptionDescription of problem:
While following the beginners manual, I was reading the first guided example: I
clicked on File->New and then I went back to the Scribus manual but I had some
window transiction problem.
I recorded a video to better explain the problem.

Additional info:
Scribus 1.4.0
KDE 4.7.4

Bugreport I opened in Fedora bugzilla when thinking it was a package problem:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788710
Steps To ReproduceDan HorĂ k said in Fedora bugzilla: "I guess you see the behaviour because the "New document" window is modal and
because I can replicate the behaviour also in XFCE desktop it's most likely not
Fedora specific. Please open a bug directly on https://bugs.scribus.net"

should the help browser be an external application then?

the major drawback i would see is that it won't close when scribus is closed: would that matter?

I would probably vote for an external application, ideally xdg-open on Linux distributions which will open the user's default browser. Don't think it's a problem when the manual stays open after closing Scribus.

i'm not sure that launching the browswer is a good idea... but it could be an option :-)
... it should not be hard to add a small webkit based browser to show those html files... there is certainly something already around which can be added to the scribus code base.
