Summary0011261: Export of text frame to *.odt collaboration with other humans without lose of formatting
DescriptionCurrently is not possible to export formatting for future editing what make Scribus more similar to Latex than to Inkscape - it is not possible to improve graphics design and export it in one place - it make large project too complex to use Scribus.

Please consider adding such *.odt export option what could replace *.txt export.

Obvious duplicate of 0005190. Once again (and this is last time), search bug tracker before submitting new bugs.

I think it is not duplicate since export to *.odt is not export to "something better".

"something better" = "something undefined" = "nothing" - such feature something better should be rejected since requirement cannot be fulfilled - how to do "nothing" :)

It's a duplicate. Period. Given environment most people using scribus are using, this imply odt. Also, if you had read the issue description odt is explicitly mentioned.

To be clear if somebody write that is required something and it maybe be*.odt it not mean that *.odt is REQUIRED - what you write is against basic logic and related to stubbornness not requirement analysis.

Do you think that is constructive - Scribus is good program but without changes will be only outsider?

Read also comments bellow that administrator thinks that text export is the best and author of requirement is not sure if *.odt is required. That is something wrong with you if you think that is duplicate.

"Export to text is export to text.. not a styled format."

"It's a duplicate. Period. Given environment most people using scribus are using, this imply odt. Also, if you had read the issue description odt is explicitly mentioned."

I repeat. Given environment most people using scribus are using, feature requested by 0005190 implies odt. They would be no point for us in exporting the content to something and not implementing odt export.

This is not a discussion or a support forum. By consequence any duplicate tasks are closed. And odt export is a task already known to be done at some point.

Why you make discussion longer and longer and trying to convince that export "something" if "*.odt" - what is the reason?

"This is not a discussion or a support forum. By consequence any duplicate tasks are closed. And odt export is a task already knownto be done at some point."

"something" not implies "sex" as same as "*.odt" :)
Given environment most people using scribus are using, feature
requested by http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=5190 implies odt.

Not want to repeat difference.

The title is often insufficient to describe a bug. In this case the bug description explicitly suggest odt. That makes yours directly a duplicate...
