| Summary | 0011429: Embedding fonts dialog does not work as expected | ||||
| Description | - When I click the "Embed all" button, I would expect all available fonts from the left to appear in the upper right box "Fonts to embed", but instead they appear in the "Fonts to outline" box - The same happens, when I select one font on the left and click on the right arrow button. It appears in the lower box instead of the upper box. - When I select one of the outlined fonts and click on the up arrow button, the font disappears in the lower box, but doesn´t appear in the upper box | ||||

This is expected behavior : - some fonts cannot be embedded in PDF versions Scribus supports, this is noticeably the case for OpenType fonts which can be fully embedded only since PDF 1.6 - fonts with more than 2048 glyphs (iirc) are subsetted/outlined by defaults, for those font that behavior can be changed in preferences |
