If you need this feature, I think you should either implement it yourself or pay someone to do it for you. In the face of recent revelations regarding spooking and data sniffing, I doubt that any developer is encouraged to implement a potential security or data safety hole.

I don't think we should '86' this feature just yet. Especially with services like MediaGoblin, OwnCloud and Seafile available.

Anyway, as for dropbox and probably many other services, there is no need to tweak scribus, since synced folders are just normal folders.

I think it's a good idea and nice to have feature. I saw many desktop publishing platform has seamlessly integrated with cloud platforms to make them as next-generation cloud software ,such as Canva.com. It also make file sharing and collaboration easier. It would be nice if Scribus has them too to suit the need of modern office.
