Summary | 0012259: Feature: Frame color change to non-matching fallback whenever background object matches it
Description | Placed on a red background, frames and their handles are totally invisible. While in principle it should be possible to change the frame color (however see bug 0012258), every other choice of colors will also interfer. So a more intelligent approach to this would be nice: whenever the background object matches the frame color, this part of the frame would be displayed in a fallback color, which might be specified in preferences or simply 50% lighter.
