Reproduced with Scribus 1.5.0.svn (19220). |

may be fixed in r20111. "Improved DropShadows, all object types can have a drop shadow now. For Objects with no fill (eg Groups) the drop shadow is calculated from the content." Needs to be checked. |

The group has an option called "Don't clip Content", just enable this in the properties palette in the groups tab. |
