Steps To Reproduce | 0) Create a new document 1) Insert a Shape 2) Go to: Windows > Properties > Colors 3) Set Fill Mode to: Gradient By default gradient color is black 4) Add a color stop 5) Set the color color stops as follows: 1st: Red 2nd: Red 3rd: None Between the 2nd and the 3rd stop the interpolation shows a black shade. As explained by jghali this result is expected in the code, but may be unexpected to users. | ||||

"None" is the context of gradient is defined as "Black" with 0% opacity. Before 0012280 it was defined as "White" with 0% opacity. Given current definition ("Black"), the produced result is the expected one as color interpolation is perform between "Red" with 100% opacity and "Black" with 0% opacity. |

I examined the ask again... 0) Create a new document 1) Insert a Shape 2) Go to: Windows > Properties > Colors 3) Set Fill Mode to: Gradient By default gradient color is black 4) Add a color stop 5) Set the color color stops as follows: 1st: Red 2nd: Red 3rd: None Now: -- Click 3rd color stop -- Click "Extend" box and click "None" and watch it: "Opacity" and Shade become active. -- Set the Shade value 99% Now what happens is what the user expects: the gradient is correct |
