Summary | 0013957: Choice of displayed subtab changes document /or/ Opacity not applied to pattern
Description | In the uploaded document, both images have both an image file AND a pattern "linked" to it. The opacity is not applied on the image that has the PP's "Transparency/Opacity > Pattern" subtab displayed. It is applyed on the image that has the "Transparency-Opacity > Solid-Fill" subtab diplayed. Nothing changes when the "Transparency-Opacity > Gradient" subtab is displayed. Should the choice a PP's subtab change the document as it does ? I dont think so. PP's subtab display choice is a request to access some data or inputs, not to change the document. It's a user's UI choice, not a document item property. I dont know very well how do patterns go so i dont know what is the solution. - The image frame have both a file and a pattern. How do these interact or prioritize ? - Shouldnt the Opacity value *also* be applied when a pattern is selected ? - In case opacity and pattern-choice are mutualy exclusive as they are now, usability should be improved in sticking to conventionnal UI behaviours : greyed inputs when not relevant, radio buttons, text explanations... but not subtabs.
