DescriptionIf you choose vertical alignment it depends of the letters if there are really lines on the same y-Position.
Steps To ReproduceCreate 2 textframs
Write text one time with g, y, j and one time without underline letters
Align them to a horizontal guide
Text is not on one line

Or choose align top with f, h, i or just a, v, w (for example)

I don't understand exactly what you want to show. Please provide sample document.

A sample document won't help, so I try another screenshot^^
This example shows 2 textframes, text alignment bottom.
The frames are aligned to a guide line.
On the left there is a "g" - this moves the baseline of all lines up. In difference to the textframe on the right. There is no underline letter.
The red lines I gimped show the difference - this doesn't look very professional.
(Same behaviour text aligned top and no letters that are "higher" than normal - for example normal vs norma)

How to fix? perhaps it's possible to insert an invisible "g" for align bottom or a capital for align top...?
