Hmmm... Snap to guides is already enabled by default for new docs in 1.5.3. |

oh yes – sorry! i checked it after searching for a setting to fix 'snap to items' as a default. and it doesn't show as enabled without an open document. maybe it would be better to show it (i.e. 'sticky tools' shows the checkmark if it's enabled and no document is open…), but the bug could also be closed. |

i'm not sure that snap to items should be enabled by default. not before it works in a way that feels very comfortable. currently, i would say that in the general case i'm often not that happy with the snapping options... in the current state, i prefer to enable it when it |
