Summary0015013: Changing the Margins of a Master Page will Close Scribus
DescriptionSince the Endnote-Feature is a bit unflexible with it's endnote-frame, I wanted to work around the problem, and create another page with different margins, just to be able to position that one, and allowing for a headline ...

Apparently that is impossible, since the margins are (probably) saved globally for all pages.

It might not be intended to be able to change those in the same document, but then it should be made, so that they can't be changed.
Steps To ReproduceI have a two-sided layout, left and right page.
Create a new set of Master Pages for them.
Select one > Page > Manage Page Properties ... > Margin Guides > Change one of them a little and hit OK

Hmm ... Let me check a few things ...
This one isn't as easy to reproduce as I thought ...
Seems to take some very specific settings involving endnotes.

Let me attach a file.
http://www.nmeuter.de/file.library/test/test.sla

If you load the file and try to change the margin on one of the master pages, scribus closes. Sadly I am not sure what all plays into this ...

Thanks for the test file. I can now easily reproduce the crash. However it looks like the fix will require some thoughts and will be a little involved.
Be careful when using all the footnote / endnotes stuff. Those features are still in an experimental state and will likely requires changes before 1.6.0 release.

Thank you for the warning.

I've been thinking ... the reason could be that I moved the endnote frame to fit a heading on the page. I might test this later.

No, the reason is that you are using note frames. From that point on, you are at the risk of a crash when editing master pages or when finishing master pages edition.
