| Summary | 0015019: [proposal] Add option to disable PDF import transparency | ||||
| Description | This is feature request related to previously reported issue: https://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=15008 ...and to: https://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=876 As "shadow effects use PDF transparency which came only with PDF 1.4 and hence require PDF >= 1.4" (@jghali) Current possible workaround for PDF 1.3 workflow involves externally converting PDF into tiff/png/jpg without transparency and works flawlessly. Feature proposal: add "Disable transparency" option inside "Image options panel" next to "Page number". This also could be useful for images that contain transparency. Maybe setting background color would also be possible. | ||||
