Description | the automatic notes frame is sticked to the bottom of the text frame there is no gutter in betwen specifying a vertical space before notes style is of no help because it doesnt apply to the first paragraph of a frame request is about "note styles" edit window : add a "vertical gutter" parameter so as to specify the space heigth between bottom of text frame and top of notes frame | ||||

currently you can move the welding and get the effect you want... but i see why one would want to define a padding... probably, it would be better to add it to the footnotes settings, rather than asking for it each time a footnote is created. |

Yes ale this is what this request is about. Defining that gutter in the notestyle brings : - ease of use : instead of having to place it by hand each time a note is created - document layout consistency : all footnotes of same notestyle look at the same distance below main text frame |
