Summary | 0016048: Baseline Shift issue
Description | For Baseline Shift if the character we are shifting hits the baseline of the top line, the entire line containing the character we are shifting is shifting down. This is not a desired behavior as per my knowledge. Since the user is doing the activity with his/her knowledge why should the shifting happen?

The baseline linespacing mode being a variant of the automatic linespacing mode, at this moment this behavior is expected. If you do not want this behavior, you should be using fixed linespacing mode. |
Are you planning to change this, may be in future? |
There is no plan to change this at this moment. However I do not rule out this behavior might be changed in the future. |
