Summary | 0016101: Buttons size on high resolution screen
Description | When using scribus on a higher resolution screen, i can use Application preferences to enlarge Menus and Palettes font size but buttons are much too small also -- see uploaded screenshot capture -- and there seem to be no way to increase buttons size so as to restore a useable size. There is a "reduce widget size" but there is no "enhance buttons size" checkbox.

i guess that you should simply scale up the whole UI instead wanting settings for scaling each item in the UI... |
|
Great when that's possible : is that a setting in scribus ? Where is it ? Or in the OS ???? |
|
if your UI (at "system level") is correctly setup for hidpi monitors, you should get the same scaling as with the other applications. if it's not, you can use export QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.5 in your .xinitrc or in a script that launches scribus. if you try the nightly appimage, it should automatically scale (and will give you bad results if you also ahve QT_SCALE_FACTOR set). |
