Summary | 0016118: when a script places an svg, it does not respect the position of the shape in the svg
Description | the attached svg contains a rectangle in the middle of the page. scribus.placeSVG('rectangle-02.svg', 10, 10) will place at the (10, 10) position, instead of somewhere in the middle of the page.

it's a general issue, not related to the scribus. - file > import > vector. - click on the top left corner - the rectangle will be in the top left corner. |
the same happens with a pdf created by inkscape (rectangle-02.pdf) and by scribus (rectangle-03.pdf) |
opening the svg or pdf files (instead of file > import gives the right result. |
according to jean, it seems that the issue is related to the fact that "import" is grouping the shapes. |
