Summary | 0016123: cant open scribus file
Description | Please excuse my ignorance. I'm following the scribus help directions on having a file possibly repaired. I have a file that will not open. Scribus says the file "may be damaged, or created in a newer version." Im not sure what happened, and this is not a problem I have had before. The manual says I can submit the file for possible repair.
Additional Information | Its a simple file. Just text and shapes

This file contains no usable data, only null bytes. This is typical of file system problems, usually caused by old or broken hard disks. Unfortunately given the state of your file there is nothing we can do on our side to recover it. In any case, if you're on Windows, you should check your hard drive for disk errors: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2641432/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors-in-windows-7 |
