Summary | 0016135: tools to edit linked frame texts
Description | There are several needs about linked frames texts, and several tools in several places In "Object > Linked text frames" - cut link - link - cut link and split text In context menu > Content - not so related : import text / merge imported text / edit in story editor / del - trim overflown text (french : "Tronquer") when text is too big to fit in last frame In my experience, "trim overflown text" is of the same group as "link", "cut link" and "cut link and split text" : they all deal about overflown text management. As a consequence : "trim overflown text" (french "Tronquer") should appear in same place = in "Object > Linked text frames" menu as for now, instead of appearing in "Context menu" > "Content" submenu. But also : maybe these 2 menus should be merged ? or maybe they should appear in both Object menu and Context menu ?
