Duplicate of 0014175. At this point, tbh I have no idea if and how this issue is fixable. |

jean, you might want to start by reviewing my first refactoring patch for the marks. once i'm over with the (first?) refactoring of all marks, i think that we will have a better picture on how marks works and it will be easier to fix single issues. at that point i would also know a bit better, how marks work in scribus. then, i think that we should sit down, possibly also with a few power users, and discuss what are the minimal features that scribus should support. as an example, if nothing else else works, we might need to require a manual updating of marks. |
