|Summary||0016710: Page sets are predetermined in the app, when there is only one PageSet in document itself|
|Description||Scribus inserts unnecessary PageSets in the document file. What's more, it doesn't make use of their structure in that file.|
When I open Document Settings, I expected there would be only one PageSet after me mangling with file (deleting unnecessary PageSets and setting BOOK="0" on DOCUMENT).
What happens is that default page sets are still there in the app. So, if you press any of them, it crashes.
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Open *.sla document in simple text editor.|
2. Remove "Set"s you don't need from PageSets, leaving one.
3. Don't forget to change the value of BOOK attribute to "0" in <DOCUMENT>, if any.
4. Open this file in Scribus.
5. Open Document Settings.
6. Click on any page set that shouldn't be there.
7. Get crash.
|Additional Information||Why does Scribus attach page sets that we don't use later, again? IMO, it's DRY problem.|
|Tags||document, pages, preferences, properties, save|
||Scribus requires 2 page sets, and 4 for older versions.. why are you trying to delete them from the file and why are you trying to manually edit the BOOK value?|
||@cbradney Apparently because it wasn't documented. OK, so this is legacy issue.|
