Summary | 0016949: cannot create a right aligned tab at the right most position in the frame
Description | if i create a frame 15 cm wide i cannot create a right aligned tab at 15cm (14.9 cm was the right most position i could use) a discussion about this is happening at https://forums.scribus.net/index.php/topic,4610.msg21194.html

libreoffice seems to be using the maximum value between the tab position and the width of the frame. this is imo a sane behavior (if there are multiple tabs at or after the width, only the first one should be retained and the other ones just ignored) this should only apply for right aligned tabs. for all other tabs, the text should probably flow to the next line. |
|
if i have a 5 cm wide frame, the right most right tab that renders correctly is 4.97 cm (the first line in the screenshot). i've tried to compare this with a right aligned text (the second line in the screenshot) and scribus seems to be able to go further right (even if it won't "glue" the letter to the frame, as i would expect) |

Tested in LinuxMint 21.x; Scribus 1.5.9svn (and before) I confirmed it. This is a really annoying fault. |
