Summary | 0017242: Column or frame jump control-glyph looses paragraph "first line retract" style
Description | Paragraph styles feature a start of paragraph "retract" (special margin for first line) is not compatible with column or frame jump. When the jump starts the scribus-paragraph, the retract is applied to the empty first line at the start position of the jump, and is not applied to the start of the real text = the real paragraph. When the jump ends the previous scribus-paragraph... the end of paragraph follows immediately, and Scribus jumps to a new line. Thus there is a blank gap at the top of the new colum or new frame. I imagine 2 solutions : - As for applying paragraph styles, a line with only a jump should not be perceived and treated as the first line of a paragraph. - Or there should be an optional property for (end-of-)paragraphs : "jump to next column" or "jump to next frame". When applied, it would avoid the need for a jump control-glyph.
