Summary | 0017327: Scribus crashes due to Signal 0000011
Description | Hello, good people. I am using Scribus 1.6.2 (appimage) on Fedora 41 To the point. When I open a .sla file and try to export text from file it crashes on the very next thing you do after import, either save or scroll down. Scrolling, it may scroll down uncertain number of pages before crashing but saving (Ctrl+S) crashes it immediately every time. I tried .docx and .txt files on the odd chance of having some weird character in .docx, but same result. The crash pop-up is "Scribus crashes due to Signal 0000011"
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Open the .sla file or create one (about 200 pages with automatic text frames) 2. Create a text frame, right click on it, and choose Content >> Get Text 3. Select file and click OK 4. Press Ctrl+S (or scroll down trying to reach the last page) 5. There you go.

It is Signal number 11 |
|
And it crashes on saving through the File menu also, not only Ctrl+S |
|
Actually, never mind. I deleted that .sla file and started from scratch; the same .docx file is working now. I guess the .sla file has some problem, not the .docx. Sorry for the inconvenience. If Signal 0000011 means something very obvious, please let me know. |
