Summary | 0017483: Picture Effect > Colorize with Pantone does not work properly
Description | When you apply the colorize effect to an image, it converts any spot color to a CMYK. Export pdf with PDF/X-1a:2001, convert spot colors checkbox uncheck. After export, you can check pdf in Print production/color separation with Acrobat. I'm using the latest stable version of Scribus 1.6.3 for Windows 11.

Isn't this expected behavior? Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think a bitmap can have a spot color... |
|
If you image is suitable for vectorization (autotracing), you may want to try that using Inkscape, and then import the resulting SVG into Scribus. |
