Summary | 0017517: Font rendering different after PDF export
Description | In version 1.7.1.svn, I noticed a minor rendering discrepancy when exporting documents using non-integer font sizes (e.g., 9.90pt). The exported PDF displays text with slightly smaller letters compared to the Scribus window, while the letter spacing remains consistent. I've attached a comparison image. The issue persists across various PDF viewers. There is one circumstance under which this discrepancy does not occur: when converting the text to paths during export – this resolves the rendering difference. I hope this information helps!
Steps To Reproduce | - Create a text frame, insert text and set the font size to 9.90pt - Export as PDF, with the option to embed or subset (not convert to paths)
Additional Information | The issue did not occur in 1.7.0, I encountered it only in 1.71.svn. I should add that I used a nightly Linux-AppImage of 1.7.1.svn that ale kindly shared in the notes of a previous bug report (thanks a lot again, the other issue was indeed resolved! :) ).
